Wire Chafing Sensor

IDI has developed a passive solution to the problem of wire chafing detection. By listening to noise signatures in the wire, we have a system which can detect wire chafing, arcing and burning. The system could prevent such tragedies as the TWA 800 crash which is thought to have been caused by chafed wires arcing and igniting nearby fuel.
