IDI Technology - Sensors
IDI is currently developing a range of sensor technologies applicable to intelligent
transportation systems to help reduce loss of life and prevent costly lawsuits. These
sensors are based on either acoustic, piezoelectric, capacitive, inductive, optical
imaging, or infrared measurement methods. IDI also provides expertise in analog
electronics and signal processing software, pattern recognition, and neural network
algorithms to fuse multiple sensor signals. This signal processing enables users to
substantially improve signal to noise ratio and extract meaningful information from
typical nonlinear electrical sensor signals. IDI seeks interested parties to develop
related product areas by providing engineering services, licensing rights, or in some cases
outright sale or technology transfer. The following abstracts describe a summary of
currently available IDI technologies for a range of sensor applications.
